I know a lot of people who use just plain skateboard tape.

Few sheets of skateboard tape, cut pieces to place where ever you want. I bought some plain black sheets at Academy for a few bucks, and I have enough to last me many years. I know lots of people use the Talon grips, but they cost too much in my opinion.

I slapped some homemade grip tape on my concealed carry G27 and it was rough on the skin and caught my shirt quite often. Switched to a rubber Talon grip version and haven't looked back.

If you find the grip tape is too much, a little sand paper treatment on the tape helps, but I prefer the rubber grip now.

Hogue Handall - inexpensive and provides a great grip.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've been meaning to do this for a while. I'll be interested to see how much difference it makes next time I head to the range.

If you're hands sweat like mine, anything will help next time you shoot your plastic gun.

Can't think of the name of it but Hickok45 on YouTube has a favorite he puts on his guns. May want to check into it.

Edit: Just remembered it. Talon Grips

I just ordered some. More expensive than the skateboard tape but reviews suggest grip is a little nicer.

Minor trimming was required but install was simple. I opted for the rubber grip for my G19 vs the granulate. I may put granulate on the G 17 which is next to my bed in a gun vault. Noticeable improvement and a hand written "Thank you" on my invoice. :thumbs2:

If you do this, you're not going to be able to swap out back straps without probably ruining the grip. Something to keep in mind if you change those out.

Looks good. I love the Talons on my subcompact, but it should help with any sized handgun.

Check out an OEM smooth trigger for your Glock. Much easier on the finger after about 100+ rounds and just plain feels better to me.

I use Talon grip tape on my G34 match gun. Good stuff.
Hello. My name is Red and I used to carry a .45. Now I carry a 9mm and it's getting easier to admit every day.

Yep. Just stipple it with a hot soldering iron.
Guns are like parachutes, if your ever in a situation that you need one and you dont have one, you'll probably never need one again.
