I haven't seen this posted here before and I thought everyone would like it. I think it hilarious. Make sure you watch the entire thing.

On a side note someone needs to educate this lady on the Supremacy Clause that says US law always trumps city and state law.

1) Yes, it is hilarious, especially when the crowd cheers and applauds when she mentions that SOME of them may favor gun rights and align themselves with the NRA.

2) Federal law doesn't ALWAYS trump state and local law. It only does so in areas where the Constitution allocates power to the federal government. Where the Constitution is silent, the 10th Amendment reserves power to the states and, respectively, the people.

Now DC is a special case where Congress has absolute power, under the Constitution, to override any local DC laws. Maybe that's what you meant.

And the Congresswoman DID appear to be completely ignorant about that fact, in addition to many, many others (including the overwhelming sympathies of her audience).
