I notice Costco is selling this Velocity GunVault with a 4 pushbutton release and keyed backup as well. It is listed for $99. Is this a good deal? Is this a good safe to have in order to have a gun somewhat protected and out of sight but still ready for quick acquisition. This would be mainly for the wife when I am not around, since I have a gun on me 99% of the time.

Re: Velocity GunVault
It depends on what you want it for.
Small quick access safes do little to prevent theft. Most of them are very good at keeping little fingers away from firearms.

Re: Velocity GunVault
I watched this video not long ago on the product (would be a good price). It's one guy's opinion, but may help.

I'm still thinking about it.
