DFW area CHL holder killed

Saw this on the local news this morning. Guy makes a deal to buy a car from an internet for sale ad. Heads to Dallas with trailer and cash. "Seller" comes out shooting, kills the "buyer" takes the money.
On the TV coverage they mentioned the victim was a CHL holder but apparently never had a chance to defend himself.

I do deals like this pretty regularly. I'll have my guard up a lot better in the future. Let's be careful out there.

I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961
