I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

I have a shoulder rig from Black Hill Leather that I wear daily. It is really great quality. I have tried the cheap shoulder rigs from Uncle Mikes and the modular one from Fobus, but I never liked them. They did not fit well or conceal well. I finally bit the bullet and spent the money on a good leather rig and it is a night and day difference. Their website is http://www.bhlstore.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. I have not affiliation with them, other than being a very satisfied customer.

I am 6'4" 260 and the Galco holsters fit Me very well, I do not use the model with tie downs, if the shoulder holster is adjusted correctly they are not needed. Ruger P-85 another non-jamming large frame 9mm auto fits well and two 18 round magazines on the off side balances the rig perfectly.
Actually still have a couple of inches adjustment left.
