Rogers proposes CMP take control of old Army pistols

Post by jmorris »

Sales would be handled same as rifles are now. M1911A1 mailed to my doorstep? I could handle that.

I would love to get one also. Sounds like a great idea. Keep the CMP going for quite a few more years.

Now if they could only do the same with the old Tommy Guns, Grease Guns, BAR's, and Brown 30 caliber machine guns.

Lots of comments on the CMP forum. It seems the CMP charter only allows for rifle sales so there will have to be some re-writing of stuff. The CMP forum posters don't seem overly optimistic about this happening.
