Spend my money for me !!!
I have sold a couple guns and did some odd jobs now i have 1000 dollars. I do not want an ar or ak rifle or a glock. So what do i need to blow my money on. It could be something you have to sell or something you would just like to blow some money on. So talk me into something iv worked hard to save it up now im tired and dont want to work hard to sped it.

Re: Spend my money for me !!!
- How about spending it on a nice semiautomatic or over and under shotgun? Do you like shooting clays at all? A nice shotgun can make it a whole new experience.
- How about spending it on a high end target quality .22 rifle? Shoot all day long for cheap, with the satisfaction of drilling tiny groups.
- How about buying a suppressor for one of your hunting rifles? Be able to zero, shoot, and hunt with your rifle without having to wear ear protection.
- How about buying a well-equipped reloading set up? After recouping the initial investment, you'll save a ton of money on ammunition over the years.
- How about buying a nice example of a Single Action Army Colt .45, or replica thereof, and a nice tooled belt and hoster for it?

Re: Spend my money for me !!!
Here's another idea or 4 or 5 ideas...
- How about some high end rifle cases with custom fitted foam padding?
- How about a Shiloh Quigley model in .45-70 or .45-110? http://www.shilohrifle.com/shop/product ... t=1&page=1
- How about a Marlin 1895GBL in .45-70? http://www.marlinfirearms.com/Firearms/ ... 895GBL.asp
Or the Stainless/laminate stock variant with ghost ring sights and a scope rail: http://www.marlinfirearms.com/Firearms/ ... 895SBL.asp
- How about a nice Ruger No.1 In .375 H&H Magnum? http://ruger.com/products/no1DE/specSheets/11391.html

And here I was just thinking about more ammo for what you already have.

A top quality training course with a national-caliber reputation for quality. For example, Gunsite, TDI, Thunder Ranch, or Massad Ayoob.

Re: Spend my money for me !!!
airborned, I like that Marlin a lot too. I've handled the stainless version a few times, and it is pretty handy due to a short length. I like the rail on the top for the ease of mounting and dismounting an optic. I've seen them with something like an Aimpoint RDS on them, or you could mount a scout scope or a regular scope pretty easily. But, the weather resistance and rail aside, I think the blue and wood gun is nicer looking. Either way, a .45-70 will take down pretty much any size game on this continent, and will do that out to a reasonable distance, and a rifle like that would make a pretty handy truck gun. That's the stuff of hog nightmares. Buds had the stainless one for $870 but they show it as out of stock. I'm sure you could order one. Cabela's has them listed at $949.99.airborned wrote:Tam you are the master of good ideas. Im really liking that marlin 45/70
Alternatively, if ammo price and availability were an issue, you could get yourself a nice lever rifle in .30-30. The Marlin 336BL looks just like the blue/wood 1895GBL above, except in .30-30, with a 6 round magazine capacity. Buds has that one for as low as $490 (cash value).
