FNFAL is one the real battle rifle. Impressive rifle for its time, adjustable gas block, 7.62 power, bolt hold open feature, accurate but it is not a sniper rifle, long barrel, the only negative is the weight.
A very reliable work horse. I Fabrique National Herstal is one of the great co for small firearms. I am puzzled why this rifle is left behind. I guess it is length/weight that sealed its fate.

That's cool.
Pop the bolt back in and go. Wow!

Yes, great battle rifle alright. First modern military firearm that I ever shot and learned to field strip.

Andy,
Wasn't that your FAL you let me shoot at one of our Elm Fork get-togethers? That was a fine battle rifle. I really liked it!

That's strange. I don't remember that being an issue at all and I normally prefer a shorter LOP.
What I do remember was how easily it made those dirt clods disappear.

I'll have to call Dave in the morning and see if they actually have one in stock.
Are FAL lowers the part with the serial number, like with an AR?
