I moved to Chicago for 5 years and have only been back in Texas for two. I really thought Illinois would hold up my app but suprisingly they did not. I am really shocked.

I don't think the responding city,state,county knows WHY DPS is asking for the record check. Just another piece of low priority paper to deal with.

I cant wait...I hope I never have to pull it but its nice to have a sense of security. I was robbed and almost beaten to death on a business trip a few years ago and I remember waking up in the hospital thinking to myself " wow I almost didnt see my kids and wife again...something HAS TO CHANGE".
