How did you find out about Texas CHL Forum?

Post by dpatterson »

Just curious to see how each of you came to find this forum. We are pushing 1700 registered members and we were just at 1600 a few weeks ago.

I think the word has gotten out.

I found it on Google before I took my CHL class, but El Gato strongly recommnded it as a form of continuing education.

Heard about it on another forum. There's alot to learn here and is an invaluable resource for info.

Saw it mentioned on another forum that was overpopulated with kids and lids (ham radio term) and have been here ever since. I don't even remember the name of the other forum, or my user name on it, just the impression that there were lots of people on there just to pick fights.

Met LT while doing my second renewal.....we got to talking.. and he directed me here. Glad he did.

This is a great group of people and the atmosphere is very unique... (civil and friendly), you don't find that everywhere.
