new to forum -plus question

Post by ron_houston »

I just now joined this forum. I have had my CHL since Texas first started issuance. I have an original 4 digit number (preceded by 4 zeros).
I am presently living in the Philippines (almost 6 years) and I expect to return to Texas within the next 6 months.
When I return my first business will be to purchase a new Beretta 92FS compact. I would like to find someone, in the Dallas or Houston area, who can do very simple laser engraving on it for me. All I want is my name on the right side of the slide and a saying on the left side, about 20 letters on each side, in block lettering.
Every engraving site that I can find shows intricate engraving.
If anyone knows of a reliable place please let me know. There will be no shipping involved as I will hand deliver the slide to the engraver.
I thank you for any help.

Welcome to the forum.

I would recommend http://dallasengraver.com. Ken is a friend of mine and yes he does very intricate work but he also does very simple stuff too.

Thank you for the reply. Yes, I looked at his website and saw all of the intricate engravings and there was no mention of "minor type things" that he did. I will go back to his site and send him a message.
