Several months ago we had remodeled the kitchen and dining room of our house and did lots of repairs. All the debris we removed was piled up in a corner of our field behind our house (we live in a rural area.) We had contacted a guy with a backhoe to come bury the stuff. After several weeks and phone calls he finally showed up and dug the hole...and then he left. Thinking he would come back to finish I took advantage of the dirt berm and used it for target practice. After a few more weeks of him not showing up I called him. He said I should find someone else to finish, so I did. The second guy
never showed up. But the third guy did. After he buried the debris and cleaned the area I had him build me a good berm around 6ft tall which would have me facing slightly south east-ish to shoot. The storage building in the background to the left is unused, and my angle of shooting will be to the right of it. The only thing behind the berm is the rest of my field and then trees...no houses around (well, except mine that is many yards away from and totally out of sight of and out of line with the berm.
Got me some ar500 steel targets on the way, too!
Happy, and thankful.
