Springfield XD Mod 2 finally pulled the trigger

Post by lildave40 »

My first carry gun was an LC9. It was small enough to conceal very easily. The only issue I had was it was not that accurate. While on date night with my wife and another couple at a shooting range. My friends wife was using an xd I notice her groupings were alot tighter than mine. After talking she let me use it. That was the biggest mistake I have ever done. The gun felt so comfortable while gripping, the recoil is very minimal, Reaction time greatly improved, and my groupings were all perfect. After we were done shooting I went straight out and sold my LC9 and purchased one for me. :anamatedbanana

They are very nice guns. Not only accurate, but very dependable. Also one of the easiest guns to field strip and clean. My wife uses a XD Subcompact 9mm, and I have a XDM 9mm. Having a gun you like to shoot is important.

I have the 4 inch 9mm version. I LOVE IT. Feels great in my hand. Only gun I have ever owned that felt like an extension of my hand and not something I had to conform my hand to. My wife loves it also but the grip is a little to wide for her. We are looking at getting the XDS for her.

Congrats!

Love the XD series as well. I have the regular XD, 4" 45 compact version . My wife has the XDS 3.3" 9mm bi-tone and she loves it too. Highly reccomend the XDS :coolgleamA:
