My wife doesn't have her LTC so that really isn't an issue. She won't need it with her all the time.Jusme wrote:Doesn't seem too practical for clearing a stovepipe in a stressful situation unless you attach it to a glove you wear constantly
Even so if she were put into a situation where she would have to rack the slid and was unable to do so it could be the difference between her funeral or her grand jury hearing . If she has that much of an issue with her slide perhaps a revolver or one that has a lighter springzimmerdesignz wrote:My wife doesn't have her LTC so that really isn't an issue. It is a Springfield XD but not sure it would help her any. That looks like it is held with 1 finger. Seems like it might be just as difficult for her to hold on to, but don't really know since I have never used it.Richbirdhunter wrote:Would this help your situation if you have a Glock? http://brassstacker.com/glock/slide-pul ... stols.html
I'll keep thinking about itzimmerdesignz wrote:It is a Springfield XD but not sure it would help her any. That looks like it is held with 1 finger. I don't know about a revolver for someone who can't rack the slide....my DIL physically can't pull the trigger on an LCR.Jusme wrote: If she has that much of an issue with her slide perhaps a revolver or one that has a lighter spring
Just my opinion
That is the problem, either a stiff slide or a stiff DA trigger. I have an old school colt type .22 single action revovler. She hated it because she had to manually cock it every time. I guess she didn't feel as Rambo throwing lead down rangeVMI77 wrote:I don't know about a revolver for someone who can't rack the slide....my DIL physically can't pull the trigger on an LCR.Jusme wrote: If she has that much of an issue with her slide perhaps a revolver or one that has a lighter spring
