Accentuate the mediocre

I just can't believe what is happening today. In some schools in our country kids are prevented from becoming losers, they quit giving grades so that all students feel good about themselves, they take away dodgeball, and other games that may make some kids feel inferior. They pass out Ritalin like it was candy to make some classes zombie like. This is going type of thing is going to far. We are just making a future society full of mediocre people. No wonder the U.S. is not on the top in education anymore.

You never learn anything from winning!! Losing is a part of life, if you never lose you don't learn how to handle adversity, you don't strive to improve, you never appreciate the effort it takes to win, and you become stagnate in your development because you never feel the need to try harder or do better.

There are so many people who are afraid to allow their children to fail. And then they wonder why their kids have no drive or ambition. Why should they? Everything was handed to them so when they become adults, they can't function in a world with competition, that doesn't cater to their wants.
