Firearm quiz on HowStuffWorks.com

Post by TexDotCom »

In case anyone here is interested in testing themselves:

http://science.howstuffworks.com/firearms-quiz.htm

I got 29 out of 30. Missed number 23 about Samuel Colt. I work for a company with three founders, one of which is Peter Colt. (yes, relation) Don't think I'll mention my mistake next time I see him in the office. Doh! :smilelol5:

I scored 29 out of 30. I can't remember which one I missed, but it was something obscure.

Edit: It was question 19. The only weapon I could remember from Columbine was the Hi-Point. :???:

I scored 26 out of 30. Quite disappointing. :???: :grumble

Indeed some of the questions were obscure.

Fun quiz to take. Thanks for posting Tex Dot Com!

25 out of 30 here, without using Google.... :biggrinjester: Missed one of them because I didn't thoroughly read the question. I agree some were very obscure, but fun excercise!

Thanks for posting!

26/30, I don't feel too bad cause the ones I missed were related to current events not necessarily history.
In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law to pursue a natural justice.

Me neither! I demand a recount! It's not a rifle you hold up to your shoulder. It's similar to a 106mm recoiless rifle! It weighs 76 lbs.

BTW, that's one of the one's I missed. :totap:

26. I have never heard of those assassination attempts. I felt I was guessing on several.

The good news is that it was never used.

With a range of only 2.5 miles, if you fired it you were almost guaranteed to be irradiated yourself.
