Excerpt from the Presidents speech today.

Small essay about what he meant.

I guess the Marines can say that as well.

He's right, since the very founding of this country... we have had problems with *some muslims.

*added so as to not insult our good Muslim brethren here on the board who are just fine in my book.

He said Islam means peace.
Nope - it means submission...

Another speech where he looks like he's watching a tennis match with the left/right teleprompters.

I don't have any of that fabric in my house.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Yeah, Obama is hard to take but what I have seen of the speech seems reasonable. And it would certainly be nice to have Muslims help in the fight with radical Islam. As the fastest-growing religion in America, by the year 2050, the number of Muslims is projected to more than double, surpassing Judaism as the country’s second-largest religious group after Christianity.

Didn't he also say Obamacare was "woven into the fabric" of the country and therefore the Supreme Court shouldn't dare rule against it? He seems to like that phrase, or else his aides are too lazy to change the teleprompter.

Reasonable? Really? Having the President of the United States up there selling Islam like a carnival barker selling snake oil? No other President has ever behaved in such a traitorous fashion. Research the history of the US and the Barbary pirates. Think about how long ago Christianity and Judaism reformed and entered modernity. And then ask yourself, "what is his real true agenda?". Why does he stab Israel in the back, embrace Iran and the known terrorist Muslim Brotherhood, and appoint radical Muslims to positions of power within the government? Coffee is on, smell it?

It doesn't seem like you've heard the entire speech or you have a problem with perception. It's at www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXRDocvDAK8 .

Yes, it was sympathetic and positive to peaceful Muslims but a lot of time was spent reminding the audience that they are also Americans. They should not hesitate to speak out against the likes of ISIL. He was trying to enlist their support in the fight, not promote Islam. Hope it works!

You simply cannot be serious, or you choose to ignore the obvious. Islamic terrorism has achieved unprecedented influence and power under Obama. Your great leader has crippled domestic and international counterterrorism. American soldiers are not allowed to shoot terrorists and the FBI and NYPD can’t monitor mosques or even be taught what to look for. ISIS has created the first functioning caliphate and Iran marches toward the first Jihadist nuclear bomb. The mass Muslim migration is beginning a process that will Islamize Europe far more rapidly than anyone expects. The Jihad would not be a significant threat without the collaboration of this traitor. Not buying what you are too obviously selling.
