Maybe some of y'all have heard of this, but it is news to me. Did you know that we have a "patron saint"?

Blasphemer! You deserve a good stoning! How dare you denigrate John Moses Browning (PBUH)!LSUTiger wrote:I always thought the holy trinity of gunners in general was Stoner, Kalashnikov and Glock. Some might say Browning should be in there, but that was in the old testament.

That may be, but JMB was the father of many rifles and shotguns and pistols and machine guns!Bitter Clinger wrote:LSUTiger wrote:I always thought the holy trinity of gunners in general was Stoner, Kalashnikov and Glock. Some might say Browning should be in there, but that was in the old testament.
No such thing as the "old Testament" There is the Hebrew Bible and the Christian Bible. I have HUGE admiration for the Catholic Saint system, and we often contribute to Catholic Charities.
Now let's get serious, clearly we cannot ignore Yisrael Galili (Balashnikov) (1923–March 9, 1995), best known for inventing the Galil assault rifle. He also helped create the Uzi submachine gun. He was known in the military by the nickname 'Father of the Rifle'.
