He does make a point with a bit of humor, but he has perhaps has thrown too big of a blanket over too many people. There are non-professionals out there who know what they speak of through personal experience.

I think the gist of his article is that today with the advent of social media, there are too many keyboard experts who anonymously rip the true professionals. Really, if you think about it this is true in any subject these days. Look at what those who will go nameless did to OC. Look at what keyboard commandos do to sully the true patriot groups.
