Chief Justice Roberts disappoints again

Post by parabelum »

By siding with the monster in chief's EPA brownshirts.

"Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts rejected a plea Thursday to block a contentious air pollution rule for power plants, in a big victory for the Obama administration.

Roberts’s order came despite his court’s 5-4 decision last year ruling that the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) regulation, known as mercury and air toxics standards, is illegal."

So much for so-called conservative justices.

Why bother? Current situation is elites vs. us anyway. There is no more rule of law.

Because it can always be worse.

There are always good men and women willing and able to fight for freedom and liberty in the legislature. That doesn't mean they're easy to recognize or are immune from mistakes/deception/temptation. Humans will always disappoint to some degree. I hope Chief Justice Roberts does better but we are in desperate need of another Scalia (or better)...
