Wow, that's sad. Thought there would be more around here. The total for the Plano zip codes is less than 500.

Thanks. Is that number if licenses issued in that timeframe, or total license active to date at that time? I am hoping to find the latter.

I am assuming just 2006 because it is titled "Demographic Reports for Fiscal Year 2006."

So is there a method online to determine how many active licenses are currently ISSUED to date for a specific zip code? Or is this where the letter writing comes into play?

Would it be too much to ask what you plan to do with this information?

There used to be. I do not see it in their stack 'o stuff now, though.

Take away the second first, and the first is gone in a second.

Well, logically you could count up all of the licenses in a given zip code for each year over the last 5 years and add them up. Since the licenses last about 5 years (or slightly less), you should be able to get a good idea of the actual numbers that way.

I don't know what you paln to do with the information, but for practical purposes, you can start with the number of licenses issued in 2006. The total number of license holders will be more than 4 times that number (since more people get licenses every year than the year before) and probably less than 5 times.
