Ran across a reference to this on another forum. Comments elsewhere indicate that sadly for this world, nearly all the folks mentioned, including the main guy, Virgil King, have passed on to The Big Range in the Sky.

It looks like an interesting story and I read some of it ... but it's really long. I do wish posters would explain why people SHOULD open a link. I'm certain a lot of great posts go unread because people won't click without an incentive.

That's a fascinating read and well worth the time IMHO. That said, they're way off the deep end. Accuracy is unquestionably important, but to take it to that level would absolutely take the fun out of it. Sub MOA groups at 100 yrds is good enough for me...
