Kydex holster making question

I am making my first kydex holsters this weekend and have a couple of questions. The first one is the standard pancake style with belt loops cut in. What temp should I have the kydex at? I have heard 275-300. And also I am
Making one of those MIC style holsters that just cover the trigger guard for ease of gym bag carry. Should I just mold that with my hand or put it in my press like I will the pancake style. Thanks
