Slick Willies - Houston Locations

Post by NguyenVanDon »

I'm planning on going to Slick Willies with a couple of buddies tonight after work. Just wondering if Slick Willies is posted 30.06 or a 51% alcohol? Can anyone here recall Slick Willies fall into these category?

now i ride the bus to work and i carry, so i couldn't stash it anywhere, i noticed the 51% sign on the way out.

PS i didn't drink while carrying.

The one that I was in years ago was primarily a bar and was posted 51%. I am not good at drinking or pool......so I just stay away from it

I work at a Slick Willies(going there in an hour or so :) )

As far as I know, all of our (houston, anyways) locations are 51%. Every one I've been in any way (which would include Nasa/Clear Lake, Wilcrest, Fountainview, Jones, Monroe, and Bayou Place/Downtown).

Go inside and check the TABC license if you're going to any other location, but the above mentioned ones are all 51% I can already tell you. It's probly near the office, but you can ask to see it (they have to let you see it if requested). Look near the center of it, there's a line saying either "Sign=Red" or "Sign=Blue" on the license. If it says red, it's a 51%+ store and you can't carry there. If it says Blue, go back outside and get your gun :)

And if anyone's now wondering, yes, the thread recently started by me in this same forum about 51% and bar employees is referring to slicks... but which one?:

Yeah, Slick Willies is 51%. I went on Friday and saw it at the door when you walk it. It was posted 3 times in big red 51%. I had to walk back to my car and disarm myself and armed myself with my pepper spray.

Good to know now for all CHLer's if anyone else planning on going to Slicks in the future.
