Might be a good time to join the Trxas Guard. Then we will still be part of a "well regulated militia" .

If a new federal ban on AR-15s were to pass, couldn't the Texas legislature simply create a new (virtual) police agency that any CHL holder could join for free or a small fee? The "officers" in this agency wouldn't actually have any police powers, but as officers they could legally buy and possess AR-15s under federal law.

I already like this idea but lets apply it to full autos, suppressors, and SBR's as well.
