Case for sub2k Sub2000

Post by NotRPB »

I really like the Case Logic VNM-217 17-Inch Laptop Messenger Bag
Fits Devices (l x w x h): 16.1 x 1.7 x 12.2 in
https://www.caselogic.com/en-us/us/prod ... 17_-_black
(Sub2k folds to 16", perfect fit, with 30 round Glock mag inserted)
got mine at Amazon
I also carry pens, (tactical) paper to write on, folding knife, Kimber pepper spray ad another pepper spray in it (to pass out to unarmed people in gunfree zones in time of crisis while I unfold my sub2k

Also Samsonite has one I like even better, but at more expense, so it gets used less.

I've been eyeing this Maxpedition one- expensive even on closeout price.

I bought a Swiss Gear 17" laptop backpack for mine yesterday and the Sub2000 fits fine inside, although it can move around alot inside the laptop area.

I had an extra laptop case lying around and discovered that my new sub-2000 is a perfect fit. It's a great "disguise" bag, since it wouldn't be that unusual to carry a laptop into most of the places that are anti-handgun. I did have to pull out the foam insert from the laptop area, though.

The only "issue" is that there is a lot of extra space, even after I fit some extra mags. That's a nice problem to have, especially when making a trip to the range.

Take a look at the UTG Covert Gun Case at Amazon. $28
Has lots of velcro to hold everything in place.

yeah I also bought 1 size up in a larger case logic laptop bag for 17" laptops, it is a bit big, extra inches for sub2k to slide around in, so i like the 16.1" one (Case Logic VNM-217) in top post here

That maxpedition (or UTG Covert Gun Case) is really nice, but a lot of bag to hold sitting in a doctor's office waiting room chair and in small cramped doctor's exam room. looks more "out of place" like my tennis racket case I carry my AK folder in looks wrong in a doctor's office, clinic, hospital ... no one else has a tennis racket/guitar case there.

Try academy for 429 plus tax, if your are in Houston. they only carry the Glock 17 version 9mm. Ask for it, don't just look for it on the shelf
