I miss the days
A few years ago when the TSRA held their meetings in Mesquite, several of us would get together and rent a booth (started as just a table but quickly grew) at the gun show where we as forum members could meet, stop in and introduce ourselves, have a cup of coffee, and/or just rest for a few minutes. There are several members that got their start on here from those meetings. Now, since moving to Austin, I have not seen anyone attempt to put it together.
. This was a great way to put faces with names.

I remember that! I was there! I remember meeting Longtooth, CompVest & her husband, SIA, and a lot of others. That was at the annual convention, back in 2010 IIRC. I miss it too RP.RPBrown wrote:A few years ago when the TSRA held their meetings in Mesquite, several of us would get together and rent a booth (started as just a table but quickly grew) at the gun show where we as forum members could meet, stop in and introduce ourselves, have a cup of coffee, and/or just rest for a few minutes. If that was the one where Governor Perry spoke (and I think is was) then you no doubt bumped into me, as well. That was when Charles was executive director of the TSRA, correct?joe817 wrote:I remember that! I was there! I remember meeting Longtooth, CompVest & her husband, SIA, and a lot of others. Yes! I was the one who brought a bunch of knives to set out on the table and wound up going to a knife guy's table and selling most of my stuff!Skiprr wrote:If that was the one where Governor Perry spoke (and I think is was) then you no doubt bumped into me, as well. I made up a special TexasChlForum.com name badge and wore it the entire time I was at the gun show. I thought it was a great idea.
