Nothing to do about a B misdemeanor?

Post by Vanillamacshake »

I had a ticket, DWLI that i had forgotten about 4 years ago. Just found out they are denying my application today. I could appeal it, but is there any reason to? It is pretty cut and dried, right?

At least have to wait less than a year...

You are right. The appeal process is to allow you to show them that you are not the party that committed the incident in question. If you are that person, then you must wait. I know of no event where the DPS has ignored the wait requirements just because someone forgot.

of course it wouldnt be because i forgot. just wondering if i could get that ticket expunged or something, and if so, if it would even be worth it since it is only a year wait.

If nothing else, i did learn and can verify that contacting your state rep will get your situation handled since DPS seems incapable of getting info to applicants.
