Re: Colorado Trip
I think you're not supposed to have any new magazines over 15 rd capacity. And buying possessing "herb" is still against federal law....tommyg wrote:Any do and do not advise concerning a trip to Colorado

I believe they still have a 15 round mag limit. That's all that comes to mind.

Re: Colorado Trip
As Scott said no NEW handgun mags over 15. Also no 30rd AR mags just in case you carry a rifle when you travel.

Avoid all cities, enjoy the mountains and the open country. That's what we do when we go to Colorado.

I wouldn't advertise I'm from TX if I were you. From my experience in Pagosa Springs, they don't care for Texans.

When I lived in Co Springs half the city was from Texas. Don't worry, you'll be fine. Watch the signs in the cities and everything will be ok.

My SIL and her husband live in the Springs. I would agree with you there. However, in a tourist area like Pagosa and Wolf Creek I completely disagree with you. I have had them smirk and drip venom while they gladly took my money. They can and have been extremely rude.

Why? Are they upset because a big chunk of Colorado used to be Texas?Oldgringo wrote:Same in Lake City; however, your money is welcome.WTR wrote:I wouldn't advertise I'm from TX if I were you. From my experience in Pagosa Springs, they don't care for Texans.

Re: Colorado Trip
I think that is part of it. I was told to my face by a fueling station clerk that "you Texans still you think you own us". I had just gone in to buy a DP and she saw my plates. Probably doesn't help that there is a Texas county.Pawpaw wrote:Why?
