I just ordered some Hogue 30000 over molded rubber grips for it. There are some obvious differences like 3 dot sights w/ the rear being adjustable. (Later models have Sig nite sights) Fewer serrations on the slide. I think the grip may be rounder. I saw on one forum that there were 60 some odd changes. The feed ramp was changed and maybe polished better. There aren't that many parts in the gun so don't know what else they did. I assume they were mostly minor changes. Mine has the aluminum frame/ stainless slide. I will have a better report next time and remember to photograph the targets.AndyC wrote:Those are nice guns - I remember the Sig 230 well when it first came out; I'll have to look into the differences between that and the 232 you have.
You could temporarily apply strips of skateboard tape to the grips until you find grips you like.

It had 6 magazines which would be nice, but I rarely have more than three and I thought it was overpriced. I got the 232 for far less than half of that. I will be looking for magazines next month when my government check comes in.
I'd appreciate any info you can find on the differences.
