The US currently stands at Defcon5, the lowest level of threat assessment as it affects the US military. The only people reporting otherwise is an internet site called defconwarningsystem.com, which clearly states "As a reminder to our users, we are not affiliated with any government or military. Our alert code is based off of our own analysis"

If we can all choose a threat level I think Code Brown may be more appropriate.... it would certainly explain the stench and extreme sense of nausea associated with the general election at this time.

The concern is: to support ISIS in Syria, Obama launches an air attack which ends up killing some Russians or some Russian supported troops. Putin responds and launches an air attack against the US in Iraq to defend his guys against attack. Obama draws another red line in the sand. Wikilinks releases some more damaging things. And Putin crosses the line, figuring Obama will do nothing. Something bad happens and of course we can't have an election right now.
