Bitter, I don't think you will be disappointed one bit. Plus you will like how easy it will be to take an ar with you in public. Your barrel looks to be 7.5" and should fit in a regular backpack with ease. Nobody thinks twice about people with backpacks with so many carrying a laptop in them, that's what most will assume what you are carrying too. I like my adapter so much I've thought about getting one for my M4 clone.

Your 9mm Carbine got a Fed Stamp, is this in the wings too, or did you give up on NFA ticket?

This can remain a pistol, so no NFA nonsense required. The device mounted on the buffer tube is a "pistol stabilizing blade", not a butt stock. No shouldering permitted just in case an ATF secret squirrel is lurking about the public gun range on a recon mission

I never needed a stamp. Of course, I only fired the M72A2 while I was working for our uncle.

I'm going to go ahead and ask it here. I served 77-83 and don't remember ever seeing it referred to as LAWS in the military. First time I saw it referred to as LAWS was at a police display in the late 80s. Any ex-mil here that used LAWS instead of LAW?

1973, Ft Leonard Wood, MO. Drill Sergeant SFC Austin introduced my Basic Combat Training company to the M72A2 Light Antitank Weapon (LAW). We became better acquainted over the next 5 years at Ft Hood and Ft Benning.
