Instructor renewal class question

Post by CWOOD »

I have the dates.

This is my first instructor renewal. Is the class and live fire qualification all in one day? Sounds too good to be true.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, renewals for instructors are all done on one day - a LONG day, but a single day.

Be sure to wear your knee pads for the front rolls we have to do after running from the 25 to the 15 yard line.

Thanks for the heads up TXI.

I saw that you had signed up for a Tuesday class. Unfortunately I wanted to do a Thursday class so that I can have a rare long weekend.

It would have been fun to join you in the running and rolling.

Just for clarification, is the rolling done while armed and firing or are we to roll up to the pre-positioned weapon and start firing from that point :?:

Seriously, it would have been nice to meet you.

You are supposed to jump and fire 2 rounds before you hit the ground.
