I have finally become content
I have been carrying almost two years and have carried several different guns. The glock 19 being to most carried. I'd say 70% of the last two years has been with it. During that time I have tried several guns which I still love and some I got rid of but after finally buying my 45 shield I found the gun that fit the niche I was looking for. It conceals so well and is ultra thin for 45 and is very light. Recoil is surprisingly soft and it fits my hand better than anything else. It's got plenty of rounds for my liking and carrying a back up mag will be easy once my carrier comes in but I don't feel out gunned with just one mag although I hate leaving with just the one in the gun. And that goes for all my cc guns. 45 is my favorite to shoot. Of course this ain't my last pistol lord knows I want a lot of them but this is my last look into carry guns at the moment because it has all I want. I never gave Smith and Wesson a try but I'm sure glad I did.

Congrats! I'm a big Shield fan (9mm) myself. Glad you found your soul mate.

I too have found that I really like the Shield .45 and it is seeing more time in the rotation. the Shield 9mm still fills the pocket carry when I only have that option as most of mu slacks will not accommodate the slightly larger .45 in that role. However, for any IWB or OWB, it is now the Shield .45 and it is much lighter than my Officer's Model 1911.

What rig do you pocket carry in? I can't seem to find one for it that I like and pockets big enough lol. So I tend to stick with IWB and OWB.
And yes it's my soulmate haha! I'm glad I found it!
What's the saying never shoot a large caliber man with a small caliber gun? Haha joking aside I still love 9mm but 45 gives you a little extra confidence

Shield 9 here every day, I support your choice as well! Before this I had a Taurus Slim, and it was too small, the Shield is a great for me.
