Our instructor mentioned putting a lawyer on retention after getting our CHL. He explained that if we were to ever need a lawyer after a firearm incident that there were companies that specialized in CHL and for a yearly fee a person would have someone to call if we were to ever have to use our gun in self defense.
What are your thoughts on this subject?
Thanks,
Robert

I have payed for my first year legal dues with a legal service in Houston that says they will come right away if I call and need representation.
I have their phone number in my cell phone stored if I need them.
They claim its the same legal service set up as what the LEO get when they need help.
Cant say if it good or bad as I have not needed it and hope I never do!
