with that...somewhat...I think if you pulled a rifle there at that time, you would have been mistaken for the suspect and shot.

I heard one of the concert goers say that "he reached for his gun and remembered it was in his car"....again, not that it would have done a bit of good.

Granted, being armed at the concert would not have prevented it. But I believe both the hotel and venue were both off limits and thus moves this mass shooting into the "Gun Free Zone" category.
