There is seemingly no end to the extent to which anti-gun people and groups will lie about guns and gun owners. Post links to articles by these masters of prevarication here.
There actually are shotguns that resemble AR's. But this ain't one of them.
Why don't news stations find someone who actually knows a tiny bit about the subject they are reporting on? Do they send someone who has never had a dog to cover a dog show? Or hire a sports reporter who has never played, or even watched, sports?
Or can they really just not find anyone at the station that knows anything about guns? They must have someone around that owns a gun, even if it's the security folks. Can't they just say to them, "hey I know this isn't your job, but can you please take a quick look at this and let us know if you see anything glaringly wrong so we don't look like a bunch of idiots?" Anyone who has ever seen a shotgun, or an AR, could have immediately spotted the problem here.
