Staffers in the Houston office of Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, came into contact with a white powdery substance that was later determined to be non-toxic.
The campaign headquarters was placed on lockdown Tuesday afternoon following the incident.
Catherine Frazier, a spokeswoman for Cruz, said no one from the campaign staff was taken to the hospital, according to The Associated Press.
