Chicago: Police officer in critical condition after being shot in hospital

Post by Flightmare »

A Chicago police officer was shot and remains in "critical condition" after a suspect opened fire at Mercy Hospital on Monday, a spokesman for the department said.
It's a good thing that most hospitals around here are posted 30.06/30.07, that way only the most law abiding are prohibited from carrying. (We REALLY need a sarcasm font)

Guns are now allowed in Chicago. I’m sure many of y’all are aware of that.

One of the wounded officers has died.

Not sure why this officer's gun was holstered, but S&W is definitely "bulletproof"...

That M&P is going to need some work. The bullet impacted directly on the right side slide lock tab.

Oh that’ll buff right out. That officer is fortunate! It also looks like a bullet grazed the top of his slide?
