Protests are planned for Friendswood and League City on June 6th
Next Door and other places state there will be protests in Friendswood and League City today, just an FYI. I don’t expect anything to happen and I’m sure they will stay peaceful but wanted people to be aware.

I got an idea, do away with the police and take matters into our own hands!

Re: Protests are planned for Friendswood and League City on June 6th
This tongue-in-cheek (I assumee) statement reflects a growing frustration and realization that emergency responders will likely arrive too late. I take matters into my own hands by knowing the law and staying within that boundary. Texans have significant latitude for self-defense within the law. Texas law provides for our using our own hands in self-defense. When I am acting lawfully in self-defense, I am "taking the law into my own hands."striker55 wrote: Sat Jun 06, 2020 9:07 am I got an idea, do away with the police and take matters into our own hands!
