Police Officers need our Support

Post by parabelum »

Right now more than ever. I have in the past been very critical whenever I saw LEO doing something either inappropriate and/or criminal and I will continue to do so, respectfully.
Having said that, I am beginning to see disturbing and alerting trends of escalating abuse and aggression directed towards LEOs, and in some cases, against their families.
Not only do I have friends in the LE community but also family members as well. Again, the abuse towards LEOs has been steadily creeping up and is reaching a tipping point, depending on where you live, this very moment.
I am asking for your support and prayers for the good and decent LEOs who are now being targeted. We as a civilized society cannot stand by and allow thugs to terrorize those who for pennies are risking their lives to keep our communities safe.
The thuggery must stop.

After after single case of abuse of power resulting in the death of black man while he was restrained, so many are pushing to give a pass to felons who would violently resist arrest and/or assault LEOs.

Simply, no one would enlist in new new ranks of LEOs and there is no need to defund any PD.

Five brave officers were murdered in the line of duty last week. RIP.

I have never had an interaction with a police officer that was not totally professional.

I thank all of you for your service to our community.

I normally avoid all stickers or decals of any kind on vehicles, and will still do so on the wife's, for safety's sake. But in the back window of my truck, since last Monday, is a 100 Club Survivor's Fund Donor sticker in one corner, and in the other a grayscale U.S. Flag with the only color on it one of the stripes in blue. I figure every small gesture of support to the dedicated men and women of law enforcement helps at least a little.

When they abolish their unions and put their bad actors on report, I'll support them again.

Most all out are good, hard working officers whom I'm proud to associate with. But they need to stop the culture of shielding abusers of authority. There are a lot of other professions that could do this as well.
