S&W Shield - won't close on racking the slide - solved

I’d contact smith and wesson and get a new slide stop/slide release. I bet they would send one for free. They have excellent custom service from what I have heard. I’ve never had a problem from any Smith firearm but since they are mass produced it can happen.

I agree with the unusual part. I’ve never had a prob with smith and wesson. I’ve owned three shields and never had that issue.
