What I learned from this, is that it confirms my being in "condition yellow" whenever I enter a "stop and rob". Before I enter any convenience store I scan the parking lot for a possible getaway car. I check the entrance for a lookout. And I scan the check-out area for suspicious behavior.

I have a similar success story. I shoot trap and skeet with a co-worker who only comes out before dove season. After talking with him about having a CHL, he decided to get one. He had never shot a handgun before. Now he's looking for his first handgun purchase.

Received my PIN today. The letter was dated 17 working days after application was received. I guess thats not too bad.
