Re: Rebuilding a Ruger 10/22
Soak parts over-night in Ed's Red (equal parts odorless mineral spirits, kerosene, automatic Transmission Fluid ( ATF ) – any manufacture – any type is OK, and acetone. Use metal quart can with plastic flip lid for long term storage container. Don’t use plastic motor oil container – acetone does ...

Re: The bullet trap???
I've shot at the Bullet Trap several times and got my original CHL there - a super place to shoot. A work of caution about the ammo that you can shoot there. My Son was going to shot his pistol there yesterday. From the past I recalled a problem I encountered there with them allowing 45 ACP lead ...

Re: reloading components in DFW area
Not exactly in the Plano/Allen/Mckinney area, but Southwest Ammo in Mesquite has the best reloading selection/prices I've found in the Metro-plex.

WTB - stock for Thompson Center Hawkens Muzzle Loader
I'm looking for a stock (wood or synthetic) for a Thompson Center Hawkens muzzle loader. 15/16" across the flats. If wood - no cracks. Light scraps/dents/scratches are OK. Have TC parts for a possible trade. Many Thanks for any replies. John at nsmall2@tx.rr.com

Re: Hanging pistol on safe inner door?
I have a Browning safe that has a relatively thin sheet of metal on the inside of the door. I used peg-board hooks and covered the hook portion with black rubber tubing. Drilled holes in the inter door panel for the hooks. Just to make darn sure the hooks wouldn't get dislodged, I drilled a small ...

Re: Priming Tools
I have both the Lee and RCBS hand primer tools.
The Lee Is cheap junk - had lots of problems with it.
The RCBS is great - never had any problems with it.
Do yourself a favor and get the RCBS.

WTB - 1911 Pistol alloy / aluminum Frame DFW
Looking for a frame only. Must be alloy or aluminum. Prefer full sized, but would consider a Commander size. Prefer one in decent condition, but would consider any condition or finish if the price is right. FTF DFW
Many Thanks
