I couldn't find anything on that page related to this discussion. It was only some kind of BBC news page with links to other stories.WTR wrote:http://en-us.fxfeeds.mozilla.com/en-US/ ... dlines.xml

I don't know much about the 5.7 round or the ammo used for it. I was only pointing out that your post and text claiming the SS190 round was AP was flawed because the video itself said the round was SS198. I don't know the difference between the two. Maybe they are both AP.

Re: FNH 5.7x28
Don't shoot it in an M1, but you can shoot it in commercial rifles. The commercial 30.06 has a heavier chamber area. My dad always told me that AP ammo could cause fractures in the chamber of an M1. I have also read the same, bit don't know for sure as I have never tried it.Javier730 wrote:Yup good stuff.WTR wrote:I have some WWII vintage 30.06 AP ammo.......potent stuff.

I've owned both and I'd go with the air compressor. I bought a used Champion R15B mounted on an 80 gallon tank with a 5 hp motor. It pushes18.5 CFM at 150 PSI. I paid $198 for a used military one. A new one would set me back $3000.PUCKER wrote:New hard-wired air compressor for the shop....or the FNH....decisions, decisions...!
My posts on this website are worth every cent you paid me for them.
Re: FNH 5.7x28
15-20 years ago it would have been "gun, gun, gun!!" But now I have other priorities...still, I do desire this firearm! Black Friday got the best of me, I will admit, and a massive Milwaukee toolbox somehow got strongarmed into my truck (took 3 of us, heavy puppy!)...and then unloaded into the shop...along with a helping of tools...air compressor is still on the short list....gregthehand wrote:I've owned both and I'd go with the air compressor.
