Very nice! That is a lot less cobby than it looked like when I first started investigating the DIY kit....which is the primary reason I elected to go with the AAC for my first one. But I might try a DIY when it comes to suppressing my Remington 700......which still needs the barrel threaded.....

Purchased a Dead Air Mask 22. Dealer mailed the Form 4 on 9/14. I paid the dealer in full and they sent the money in so there's no check to track....bummer.

Purchased an AAC Element 2. Form 4 mailed last week and the $200 check cleared yesterday. This dealer did it differently than the other, I only purchased the suppressor from them and gave them a check to send in with my Form 4.

Will post back on the approval dates.

called my dealer yesterday about status of my Form 4s.

He said he just received a batch of tax stamps for Form 4s that were submitted in August. My two were submitted Sept. 30, he expects mine to be about 6 weeks out max. I bought a .22 suppressor (red jacket) and a .45 suppressor (PTP Ranger).

I think I'll need a new gun to celebrate. A .45 with suppressor height sights...

My last suppressor took 60 days with NFA trust. I was shocked how quick it came back.
On the homemade flashlight suppressors I got the "kits" from Preppers Discount and made some very nice suppressors (with stamps). They are lightyears ahead of cobbled maglight jobs I have done.

Received email from ffl that I can pick up my suppressor. 5 months for my form 4 with trust.
I called ATF last week and they approved it on January 16, but FFL didn't get the stamp until now (maybe Friday ?)

Hope to pick it up tonight.

Just received an email from my FFL in Cedar Park that my suppressor (Dead Air Mask) is in. I filed with a trust and the packet was mailed 9/14/15. So that's about 147 calendar days. I can have them mail the suppressor to me but I'm going to go pick it up in the next few weeks......YIPPEE, my first suppressor. I wish I could drive down to get it this week but just can't....bummer. :banghead:

My second purchase (AAC Element) was mailed on 10/12/15 so I would expect another month for that one. It was a local purchase so once it's in I can get it right away.

Being Cedar Park did you use Capital Armory? If so would like to hear your thoughts on how they handled everything. I directed my brother to them for several cans here recently.
