I think most of you are 106X more likely to get killed by your wife if you were dating a supermodel.

I understand parabelum's point.

Once, radical Islamic terrorists do something like hit the U.S. with a dirty bomb murdering millions or at least hundreds of thousands, those of us in denial will quickly change of minds about terrorism and our chances of being killed by them.

By the way, one of the potential dirty bomb targets is the Houston Ship Channel.

Interesting article from USA Today.
Shame on you.

If you mourn one, mourn them all.

It’s what we heard on social media this week, when people were denigrated for lavishing sympathy on Brussels
in the wake of Tuesday's attacks, but not for bombing victims in Turkey earlier this month. It’s what we heard in
November, when people were humiliated for feeling tortured about Paris but not by the victims in Beirut.

If you’re going to grieve online, you better wear armor.

A person close to my wife and me who is home on furlough from the mission field (I can't say where for reasons of her personal safety, but it is in "the region") posted that article on Facebook yesterday. Her heart is broken for the Muslims affected by terror which we never hear about here......just one reason why I make it a point to read foreign news sources as well as domestic ones.......although the domestic sources are more about propagand than news......
