This being Saturday morning on a rainy day...... You obviously have too much time on your hands.

Re: Video: Sniper Dog Targets the Wrong Squirrel
I live in the country in a high dove population. On opening day I heard many warning shots, some coming in the form of doubles, some triples and some even in fives.Jusme wrote:anygunanywhere wrote:Not raining in Corpus Christi. Reminds me of the joke about the native american guide telling the customer that he knew the success or failure of nearby hunters just by listening;WTR wrote: I live in the country in a high dove population. - 1 shot; deer
- 2 shots; maybe deer
- 3 or more shots; no deer
I suspect triples and fives equal 'no dove'

I have no need to dove hunt. I have to put quite a few wounded dove out of their misery every dove season.

Gives new meaning to the term "squirrel rifle". Either the squirrel's or the dog's.

I call shenanigans. Having watched many a squirrel in the road react under threat of approaching automobile, a squirrel with a full-auto weapon would have all the muzzle control of a Starfighter Death Blossom:

I shot a old boar squirrel one time who was so tough and stinky I couldn't finish cooking him.
