It doesn't fill a need for me, other than it's new, but I'd be curious to shoot it and see how the trigger and balance are.

I suspect that Glock people will still gravitate heavily to Glock, and die hard 1911'ites will not want to touch it.
May appeal to some at first but I think it's a dud.
