good illustration of how things can get out of hand pretty quickly.
oddly enough, it reminds me of a co-worker i used to have at a local university. He always dressed a bit shabby and was always scruffy with that "just got out of bed look". It was just his style.
He would constantly get harassed by campus police under suspicion of being a vagrant on the property. He would have to whip out his official employee ID to resolve the situation. Happened probably 3 times within a year.
Now he's married and all cleaned up.
I can't say i blame the police. If you walk like a duck and talk like a duck dont get mad when someone starts pouring orange sauce on your head.
Sounds like the guy in the bank was minding his own business though.
